2 - 7 alphanumeric characters designating the identity of the flight. The first character must be alphabetic, and may be followed by any combination of 1-6 alphanumeric characters. The minimum length is two (one letter and one digit). The minimum length for a letter-only name is three.
Scroll menu allowing you to enter the flight start time. The time is listed in hours, minutes, seconds, and hundredths of seconds.
Drop-down menu allowing the user to select the aircraft characteristics of the target. AChars that are shown in BLUE are not adapted achars.
1-4 numeric characters specifying the aircraft speed. Valid value range is 1-4095 Knots.
Flight Level. 1-3 numeric characters designating the flight altitude in hundreds of feet.
1-4 octal digits designating the beacon code for the aircraft. Values less than 4 digits will be left-padded with zeroes to reach a length of 4. Supplying a beacon code is optional, GSGT will generate beacon codes for aircraft as needed.
The single-letter equipment id. It is appended to aircraft type in the FP message.
NOTE: ModeC can only be toggled when Mode3a is selected.
List of RSIs for this target. Clicking 'Select' will open a scroll down menu allowing you to select the desired RSI.
Any comments associated with the target. Comments are not displayed during scenario playback.
Right-clicking on selected target(s) in the object tree of the Scenario Editor Main Window will create the following popup menu
Opens the selected target in the target editor dialog.
Displays the target's route in the adaptation viewer with a target dynamics information box (for more details see the Show Route Display section).
Opens the Replicate dialog (see section 7.1.2.1), which provides the ability to produce copies of the selected target.
Clears all non-frozen replications, leaving only the original Target.
Deletes the selected target(s).
Scroll-menu allowing you to choose the number of copies.
Scroll-menu to select how the target identifiers will be separated. If the base target has the identifier UAL001, and you choose '1' for the Delta AID, the following targets will be separated numerically UAL002, UAL003, UAL004...
Scroll-menu to select how the beacon codes will be separated. If the base target has a beacon code of 1011, and you choose '3' for the Delta Beacon, the following target beacon codes will be separated numerically 1014, 1017, 1020....
Scroll-menu to select when the replications will enter the scenario. The default time is 20 minutes. If the original has a scenario time of 00:10:00 then the first replication will enter the scenario at 00:30:00.
When checked, will create 'hard copy' replications that are no longer tied to the original after they are created. Frozen replications will appear separately in the GSGT Editor listview (left side). Non-frozen replications remain associated with the original. Any changes to the original will be reflected in the non-frozen replications.
Closes the 'Replicate' window without saving changes.
Adds the specified number of replications to the scenario.
Right-clicking on a target in the listview of the Scenario Editor displays a popup menu with a 'Show route' option. Selecting this option initiates communication with the ATCoach simulation engine to obtain position information for the target. This may take several minutes, during which time an 'Obtaining positions, please wait...' message is displayed and all program input is disabled until ATCoach returns the position data.
After the target position information is obtained from ATCoach, the route of the selected target along with a limited data block and a context box will be displayed. The route that is entered in the Target Route Editor is displayed as a solid red and dashed yellow (while following an airway) line. The actual route flown by the target is displayed by plus symbols.
The limited data block displays the target's Name, Heading, Speed, and Altitude. The context box displays the target's Name, Time, Lat/Long (LL), X/Y Position (XY), Altitude, Heading, Speed, and beacon code (Mode 3A).
Holding the CTRL key and dragging the target icon with the left mouse button will allow the target to slide along its displayed route. As the target is dragged along its route, the values in the data block and context box change to reflect its current position. To close the Route Display click the 'x' in the upper right corner of the context box.
